It’s a romance.

My passion and dedication for glass artistry… And you. Falling deeply, madly in love with it.

Andrew’s grandfather was a master carpenter, and he grew up watching his grandfather’s work ethic and attention to detail, aesthetics, and design. There is no doubt that all these traits are in Andrew’s blood.

He was exposed to glass art at a young age and even wrote in the 5 th grade: “When I grow up, I am going to be a glass artist” long before he realized where a professional career in glass art would truly take him.
Andrew Libecki has been blowing glass professionally for over 23 years. His career began in Bellingham, Washington, where he worked in a production glass shop creating architectural lighting under the mentorship of Sterling Powell. There, Andrew learned the fundamentals of traditional glassblowing and the disciplined layering of color to create pattern, depth, and dramatic visual effect within glass.

After six years honing his craft under Powell, Andrew was scouted by renowned Seattle based glass artist James Nowak and went on to serve as Nowak’s personal glassblowing assistant for four years, working at the highest level of studio practice and refinement.

Following his time in Seattle, Andrew established his own studio, G-Town Hot Shop (Gratitude Town), in Northern California, where he has produced his work independently and developed his signature voice in glass.

Today, Andrew has transitioned his life and practice to Florida’s Treasure Coast, where he is in the process of building a new master glass studio. This next chapter represents both a continuation and an evolution of his work, blending time honored Venetian inspired techniques with a distinctly American spirit, shaped by emotion, perspective, and personal story.

Gratitude and being truly present are the core fundamentals of who Andrew
is and how he creates his own personal success.

Throughout his life, Andrew has been traveling the world seeking inspiration for his life and art.
His world travels have taken him to the Philippines, Iceland, Greenland, Africa, Uzbekistan, Kyrgyzstan, Cambodia, Vietnam, Nepal, Japan, Laos, Thailand, Mongolia, Peru, India, and throughout China.

For Andrew, the magic of glass art is in its limitless abilities to form patterns, shapes, colors, texture, reflections, shadows, optical effects, and illusions. Capturing emotion, in a timeless physical form.

“Your only limit, is your imagination.”
